ZW32 is an outdoor vacuum circuit-breaker arrangement for overhead distribution and customer-boundary applications. With the selected controller, it can provide monitoring and coordinated fault-protection functions. Network grounding, fault-detection requirements and upstream protection must be considered together.

For selected branch and customer-boundary switching duties.

For installations requiring configured fault detection, status monitoring and communication functions.

The breaker provides the selected outdoor switching duty using vacuum interruption. Rated duties and environmental suitability must be matched to the installation.
Overcurrent, short-circuit and ground-fault functions depend on the selected controller and network conditions. The protection-function list should be agreed explicitly.
An isolator option is identified within the model arrangement. Required visible isolation and operating interlocks should be specified with the complete assembly.
Fault isolation and any automation sequence require coordination with upstream and downstream devices. Grounding method affects the protection design.
Match the installation drawing, cable routes, clearances and electrical duty for the selected equipment.
