DETAIL / 01

Unit-based switching scheme

Switching units are combined according to the incoming, outgoing and bus arrangement. Metering and voltage-transformer functions should be identified separately where required.

DETAIL / 02

External enclosure

The switching equipment is housed in an outer enclosure, with metal and non-metal constructions described. Access and site exposure determine the selected arrangement.

DETAIL / 03

Automation integration

FTU or RTU functions can collect switching status and electrical quantities. Remote operation requires the specified auxiliary supply, communication link and operating permissions.

DETAIL / 04

Civil interfaces

The foundation and cable layout need drainage, access and grounding provisions coordinated with the equipment arrangement. The installation drawing is part of the site design.
