APPLICATION & DUTY

Where SM-NX1 fits

SM-NX1 is a sealed three-phase oil-immersed distribution transformer with a dedicated NX1 performance schedule. It is selected around the actual distribution voltage, load capacity and winding connection. The table distinguishes Dy and Yy load-loss entries where applicable, so the connection group belongs in the initial enquiry.

DETAIL / 01

Sealed oil system

The M designation identifies sealed construction. Tank arrangement, cooling surfaces, fittings and accessories should be reviewed on the selected rating’s drawing.

DETAIL / 02

Core and winding design

The design focuses on the core and winding arrangement associated with the NX1 loss schedule. The actual no-load and load-loss values are provided for each listed capacity.

DETAIL / 03

Connection-dependent losses

The table separates Dy and Yy values at relevant ratings. State the required group when comparing offers, together with the loss reference temperature.

DETAIL / 04

Capacity-dependent impedance

The displayed entries use 4% impedance through 500 kVA and 4.5% from 630 to 1,600 kVA. Select the complete rating combination for the distribution system.
