APPLICATION & DUTY

Where SM-NX2 fits

SM-NX2 is a sealed oil-immersed distribution transformer series with its own no-load and load-loss schedule. The series should be specified using the required voltage combination, capacity, winding group and impedance. It supports a rating-based discussion for new distribution equipment and replacements.

DETAIL / 01

Sealed three-phase construction

The model identifies a sealed oil-immersed arrangement. The selected tank and terminal drawing establishes the physical supply configuration.

DETAIL / 02

NX2 performance schedule

No-load current, no-load loss and load loss are listed separately. Compare these at the same capacity and connection group when preparing a purchasing specification.

DETAIL / 03

Dy and Yy entries

The two load-loss columns distinguish winding-connection arrangements where applicable. The required vector group should be explicit in the enquiry and repeat-order reference.

DETAIL / 04

Tapping and impedance

The table identifies tapping alternatives and capacity-related impedance values. These should be retained with the model and kVA rating in the technical schedule.
