PK protection and control panels organise the devices required for a defined primary electrical scheme. Feeder, transformer, motor, capacitor and bus-related functions are selected according to the protected equipment. Measurement, control and communications are coordinated with the protection arrangement.

For protection and control panels associated with incoming, outgoing and bus circuits.

For transformer, motor or capacitor duties requiring a selected combination of protection functions.

The panel is built around the protected equipment and its protection scheme. Differential, backup or automatic-transfer functions should be requested as applicable, rather than assumed to be present in every panel.
Measurement inputs, breaker commands and status signals are arranged with the selected protection devices and control circuits.
An isolated RS485 interface is described for system communications. Device protocol, point list and compatibility with the supervisory system must be confirmed.
The panel layout coordinates the selected devices, operating controls and indications. Display language and operator requirements should be specified for the destination installation.
Match the installation drawing, cable routes, clearances and electrical duty for the selected equipment.
