APPLICATION & DUTY

Where SG(Z)(B)11 fits

SG(Z)(B)11 is a non-encapsulated H-class dry-type transformer family using an impregnated insulation system. It is intended for building and industrial distribution. The full model configuration should identify whether on-load regulation is required, as well as the winding connection, voltage combination and thermal duty.

Construction & operating functions

SG(Z)(B)11 product illustration
SG(Z)(B)11Product illustration · Configuration varies by specification
DETAIL / 01

NOMEX winding insulation

The windings use a NOMEX-based insulation system. The selected construction combines the insulation materials with impregnation and curing to form the winding assembly.

DETAIL / 02

Vacuum-pressure impregnation

Repeated impregnation and heat curing are described for the winding system. This differs from a fully resin-encapsulated winding and is an important construction detail for specification.

DETAIL / 03

Continuous high-voltage coils

The high-voltage winding uses a continuous structure with heat-dissipation considerations. Cooling, enclosure and the actual site temperature should be reviewed together.

DETAIL / 04

On-load regulation designation

The model description includes Z for on-load voltage regulation. Specify whether this function is required and include the tap range and control requirements in the enquiry.
