KYN28A-24 is indoor metal-clad withdrawable switchgear for 24 kV three-phase systems. It combines a withdrawable vacuum-breaker arrangement with primary-circuit insulation and secondary protection/control equipment. The configuration is defined by feeder duty, current, fault level and the required control scheme.

For receiving and distributing power with switching, protection and monitoring functions.

For high-rise and large-building installations using a 24 kV distribution arrangement.

The breaker arrangement is selected together with its truck and cabinet interface. This is especially important when specifying replacements or matching an existing lineup.
Bus insulation uses heat-shrink or epoxy-coated arrangements described for the series. The selected insulation and breaker configuration form part of the complete assembly.
Interlocking functions address truck movement, earthing and compartment access. The actual combination must match the selected primary and secondary scheme.
Secondary control and protection components are configured around the feeder duty. Supply the required protection functions, CT/PT information and control voltage.
The table gives two cabinet-width alternatives with corresponding dimensions. Select the physical arrangement together with current rating, cable terminations and installation access.
Match the installation drawing, cable routes, clearances and electrical duty for the selected equipment.
