MKXt6 is compact gas-insulated ring-main switchgear arranged from fixed or extendable functional units. Primary live parts are enclosed within a stainless-steel gas compartment. Unit selection is based on the network topology and the switching, protection and metering functions required.

For limited-space distribution installations requiring a coordinated ring-main or terminal switching assembly.

For circuit arrangements combining incoming feeders, transformer protection, metering and bus-section functions.

Busbars, switches and live primary parts are enclosed in the gas compartment. The described construction uses SF6 insulation; the actual compartment and enclosure requirements belong in the specification.
The range includes load-switch, switch-fuse, vacuum-breaker, cable-connection and metering functions. Select the sequence of units from the project single-line diagram.
Both fixed-unit combinations and extendable combinations are described. State whether future expansion is required and identify its intended direction.
Front cable access and side/top extension arrangements are discussed. The termination system and interface dimensions must match the selected configuration.
Motor operation, remote control and monitoring can be specified. These require the appropriate mechanism, auxiliary supply and communications equipment.
Match the installation drawing, cable routes, clearances and electrical duty for the selected equipment.
