KYN28A-12 is indoor metal-clad withdrawable switchgear for distribution, protection and monitoring. The compartmented design separates busbars, breaker truck, cables and secondary instruments. Main-circuit rating and the actual load-switching duty are selected together.

For power receiving and feeder distribution with a defined bus arrangement and protection scheme.

For plant circuits where the load type and switching frequency form part of the selection, including motor duties requiring a specific review.

The arrangement separates the busbar, breaker-truck, cable and relay/instrument sections. This organisation helps identify the space and interfaces required for each part of the feeder.
The breaker truck, shutter and secondary-plug arrangement are part of the withdrawable design. Matching these interfaces is essential for a replacement truck or breaker enquiry.
The construction drawing includes the earthing switch, cable terminations, current transformers and surge-protection location. The actual equipment list depends on the selected circuit.
Pressure-relief and heating provisions are shown in the design. Room layout and auxiliary-supply requirements should accommodate the selected arrangement.
Motor and capacitor switching are duty-specific applications. Provide the load characteristics and required operating duty so the appropriate breaker and protective arrangement can be reviewed.
Match the installation drawing, cable routes, clearances and electrical duty for the selected equipment.
