Where HXGN15-12 fits
HXGN15-12 is indoor metal-enclosed ring-main switchgear using an SF6 load-switch arrangement and optional switch-fuse combinations. Selection is based on whether the circuit needs load switching, transformer protection or another defined feeder function.

Load-switch and earthing functions
Front operating positions are provided for switching and earthing functions. The actual arrangement depends on whether an earthing switch is included in the chosen unit.

Switch-fuse configuration
The fused-switch version has its own trip and earthing arrangements. Fuse selection and the associated switch duty must be matched to the transformer circuit.

Front-access operation
The mechanism is operated from the front. Installation space must allow access to the controls and the required equipment compartments.

Electric operation option
Motor-operated opening and closing can be specified for remote control. Include the auxiliary voltage, local/remote controls and indication requirements.
