XGN2-12 is fixed metal-enclosed switchgear for indoor power receiving and distribution. The family is arranged for single-bus, double-bus or single-bus-with-bypass schemes. Primary switching, mechanical interlocking and secondary protection are defined by the selected circuit configuration.

For plants and substations using fixed switchgear with a specified bus and feeder arrangement.

For projects retaining or extending an existing fixed-cabinet arrangement and its physical interfaces.

The primary apparatus is installed in a fixed cabinet. Access, isolation and maintenance requirements should be coordinated with the substation arrangement.
Single-bus, double-bus and bypass schemes are included in the family scope. The selected circuit scheme determines the equipment and interlocking requirements.
The construction includes interlocking functions associated with operation and access. Specify the required operating scheme with the primary circuit.
The family covers multiple current ratings. Current, short-circuit duty and the chosen primary device must be matched rather than selected independently.
Match the installation drawing, cable routes, clearances and electrical duty for the selected equipment.
