XGN66-12(Z) is fixed indoor metal-enclosed switchgear for receiving, distributing, controlling and monitoring electrical power. The cabinet construction places the breaker within a fixed assembly with isolation, earthing and mechanical-interlock arrangements.

For factories, high-rise buildings and substations using a fixed indoor switchgear arrangement.

For schemes combining distribution cabinets and ring-main functions within an agreed system layout.

The cabinet uses a welded steel frame. The breaker compartment is positioned within the central/lower part of the arrangement, with access defined by the cabinet layout.
A VS1-type breaker arrangement is described. The precise breaker, operating supply and circuit ratings must match the selected feeder duty.
Rotary isolation and mechanical interlocking functions are part of the design. The operating arrangement should be specified and reviewed with the primary scheme.
Observation windows and an earthing system are included in the construction description. These features should be identified on the selected cabinet drawing.
A pressure-relief path is described for the assembly. Room and lineup planning should account for the selected enclosure arrangement.
Match the installation drawing, cable routes, clearances and electrical duty for the selected equipment.
